What we couldn’t confirm
VUT’s document did not spell out the exact points-per-percentage table, so we assume the standard NSC 1-7 achievement-level scale (no extra 90%+ band) used by UP, UJ and UL - VUT’s published programme APS figures are consistent with that scale. Several programmes also apply additional selection rules (e.g. a combined Mathematics + Physical Science threshold) we show as a note rather than compute.
VUT’s how-to-apply page prints the number as "0861 681 888", which is probably a typo; 0861 861 888 is used here. Its closing date is also shown differently on two VUT pages (see the dates page).
